On January 8 the custom of "Mpampo" revives in Aspros, in Kalindria, in Terpyllos etc, when women impose absolute power for this one day. Honored person is the midwife ("mpampo”) of the village, and the finale of the celebration is a feast accompanied with traditional dances and songs.
